About Contriology
Cimbalom, accordion, and voice - this is the lineup of a musical trio that focuses on the interpretation of contemporary classical music and improvisation. ConTRIOlogy was founded in the autumn of 2016 in the environment of the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno with a clear goal, namely to create opportunities for the birth of new compositions. On their new album Minulo, ConTRIOlogy is inspired by folk songs collected by Leoš Janáček in the cycle Moravian Folk Poetry in Songs.
