About Neena Roe
Singer-songwriter and producer Neena Roe was born to Iranian refugee-immigrants on Detroit's east side. Much like her upbringing, her music is full of dualities — melodic, indie-inspired cuts are punctuated with the R&B and alternative influences of her childhood, and she conveys her experiences through a mix of English and her third language, Spanish (Roe is also fluent in her native Farsi).
