This band was formed to celebrate Lennie Tristano and his music, for Tristano's 100th birthday via a concert at Berklee College of Music. Dave Frank (piano) and Jimmy Halperin (tenor saxophone) are former students of Tristano's, and Rick Mclaughlin (bass) and Bob Tamagni (drums) have been faculty at Berklee for many years.
