About Fany de la Chica
Singer and filmmaker originally from Andalusia and based in Los Angeles. She studied for a master's degree in directing and screenwriting at Columbia University in New York. While studying she suffered from depression after her boyfriend broke up with her. She then decided to take singing lessons at Columbia's jazz department and write songs to heal the pain. Along with other jazz musicians such as Jake Chapman, indie producer Sahil Ansari, and DJ Ann Streichman, she produced her first album "Dressed for a Sunday".
