Flutist Amy Gillen graduated from the Royal College of Music London, as a Russell Race Scholar, with a Distinction Masters of Music in Classical and Jazz Flute and was also awarded the Tagore Gold Medal. National and International Prizes include: the Irish Heritage Bursary with debut at Wigmore Hall; the 2021 Blackwater Valley Opera Festival Bursary; RDS Jago Bursary, Audience Prize Flax Trust Bursary, Belfast and the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Bursary for Woodwind and Brass.
