Joya is a 25 year old artist based in Berlin, Germany. Born from Ghanaian-Swiss roots, Joya grew up around music, instruments and rhythms. After her move to Berlin in 2019, she started focussing more on solo projects instead of making music in groups. Her style consists of deep felt lyrics and a chill emotional pop-music vibe, influenced by elements of reggae music Joya learned growing up from her Ghanaian father, who was a reggae musician.
