Growing up as the youngest of four in Cincinnati, Chris Scott "CS" would listen to his siblings cassettes and CDs of AC/DC, The Offspring, Green Day, and Live. Early 90s alt rock drew him towards John Frusciante, Kurt Cobain, and Tom Morello, but it was Bradley Nowell’s playing on Sublime’s self-titled record that compelled CS to listen over and over again. Chris expressed an interest in the guitar in his early teens. Naturally left handed, he learned to play on right handed guitars.
