“London-born, Leeds-based Freddie Baker (Bakey) first caught people’s attention in 2018 with ‘Cookie’ – a moody rap collaboration with BNC Javen, which he produced when he was 17. Since then he’s released various solo EPs, full of groove and consistent with his signature style which pays respect to a wide array of genres from UK Garage to Breakbeats to Jungle.
