About Funky ME
Michael Ende was born in the 1970s and raised in a small village near the Iron Curtain. This, along with his early interest in chemistry, may be why Michael always feels like a frontier alchemist when he works on his music. When Michael picks up the bass, it always sounds funky. This inspired him to call his one-man project, Funky ME. Beeing a lifelong musician he has experienced a wide range of contrasting situations, from studying jazz bass at university to playing in rock bands, from teaching religion to performing support shows for Marilyn Manson.
