Niro Knox is an enigma. A singer, songwriter, and phenomenal guitarist, Niro is one of three children – he has an elder, and younger, sister - and the son of parents who were both born in Israel in the early 1950s, and, whilst he himself was born in Israel, he’d already made a move to Nigeria by the age of two. Nine years later, upon his return to his homeland, he fell in love with rock ‘n’ roll, and three years after that, he persuaded his father to buy him a guitar – “a shitty black Ibanez” - so he could impress a girl, who also liked rock ‘n’ roll. “I had to get her attention somehow,”...
