About D'Sound
D'Sound is back with new music in 2024! In 2023 D'Sound celebrated their 30th anniversary as a band, 20th anniversary for the album “Doublehearted” (2003) and 25th anniversary for the album “Beauty Is a Blessing” (1998). D'Sound consists of drummer Kim and bass player Jonny. The band members consider D'Sound to be a modern pop band with flavours of neo-soul, jazz og funk. When D'Sound was formed in 1993, the lineup was Simone Eriksrud, Jonny Sjo, and Kim Ofstad. They had their first rehearsals in a damp Oslo basement.
