About Jellyfish Brigade
The name Jellyfish Brigade comes from two books I was reading at the time. In Ishmael, the gorilla explains the creation myth of mankind by telling a story of a prehistoric jellyfish detailing how the world came to be. In Wind-Up Bird Chronicles, the protagonist’s wife explains to him that jellyfish live in their own world within our world, and that there are many worlds within our world. For some reason, those ideas really hung with me. When Jeff, aka The Great Mundane, asked what we should be called, I threw out, “Jellyfish Brigade”, and Jeff was like, “Yeah.
