From the Midwestern USA, immersed from a young age in underground house and techno from Chicago and Detroit. Influenced by New York house, west coast house, UK tech house, German techno. Cut his teeth on iconic dancefloors like Twilo, Vinyl, Space, Crobar, and Rednofive. Andrew Rasse (aka Butane), a DJ since 2002, put St. Louis's underground music scene on the map with his infamous Alphahouse events.
