About My Friend
James and Archie first crossed paths in their early twenties at a party in Oxford, where they instantly bonded over their shared love for electronic music. Heavily influenced by the 2000s progressive house and liquid drum & bass they grew up listening to, the now London-based duo have spent the last decade honing a sound of their own, blurring the lines between house, techno & progressive. My Friend, as they call themselves, started as a passion project & exploded onto the scene when Danny Howard featured their unsigned and unreleased tracks on Radio 1's 'Future Fire' in 2018....
