John Thomas started in the alleys and rooftop parties of the underground house movement in early 2000s Chicago.Soon he was playing at Smartbar for his first residency alongside legends like Colette , Derek Carter , and Mark Farina. After moving to Austin, Texas in 2005 he created the band The Echoes the first live electronic band in the city. After disbanding Thomas continued making music for television, film, and video games .
