About Solar Body
Minnesota-based musician Jacob Gossel began making beats on a Korg Electribe drum machine in 2003 at 17 years old, shortly after which he began playing drums, guitar, and writing and recording his own music on a secondhand PC. After becoming burned out as a professional musician composing for TV and advertising, Jacob started Solar Body in 2019 as an outlet for instrumental beats he was making purely for fun.
