About Moon City Smugglers
Hailing from West Seattle, Moon City Smugglers was formed in mid 2018. Initially the band played from a list of covers to gain chemistry, but quickly began composing original tunes. By mid 2019 MCS had seven complete originals and was hungry to record. They recorded five of these originals for a self titled EP that September at Orbit Audio, releasing the tracks a month later. Despite going on to write several more songs in the following months in preparation for a full album, MCS came to a complete stop when shutdowns due to Covid-19 went into effect.
