About Electric Sufi
Electric Sufi is a new project by singer Sarah Yaseen, instrumentalist Mina Salama, and producer Rupert Till. It draws upon ancient mystical traditions to create music that aims to inspire audiences to engage with environmental issues. The musicians call on a wide range of influences, including Sufi poetry, Coptic Christianity, Arabic music, ancient chant, and electronica, to create a syncretic mysticism that focuses on common ground within the ice flows and fire storms of climate change.
