About Romi
Rómi (born Owolabi Oluwarominiyi on May 3, 2005) is a rising star in the new wave of Nigerian music. He began making music at the age of 8 but started recording for the first time at 15 using Adobe Audition while bored at home during the COVID-19 lockdown. The following year, he commenced his university education, where he met his frequent collaborator Bela.
