About Antone
Antone (pronounced An Tone E) hails from the south side of Chicago, where he was raised in a musical family with a strong emphasis on worship. He grew up singing in an A Cappella church choir led by his father, who was also the worship leader. At the young age of five, Antone began taking piano lessons, and soon added the trumpet, drums, and saxophone to his repertoire. In high school, he started writing, recording, and producing his own music, and even directed and shot a music video for one of his original songs, despite it being the early 80s.
