Inspired by Nigerian sounds from the early 2000s, Skiido Okoye started writing his own lyrics at seven, drawing inspiration from the sensational duo P-Square and the defunct Mo’Hits group, spearheaded by Don Jazzy and D'banj. Delving deep into hip-hop in the late 2010s, he started his career solely as a rapper in 2018 when he put out his first ever recording, Flex Freestyle.
