Defiantly without genre Lovely Assistant explore New Lounge alongside bygone bits of the New Wave. Working from a community centre in the North-east of England, the revivalist 4-piece’s tender vocals, shimmering instrumentation and saturated drums produced a debut album Greetings from the Pre-Wave on limited 12” release in 2020. Influenced by the torch-songs of the fifties through to J.J.
